About the role
The Maintenance Lead is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement on a specific production line. The role involves managing maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution while coaching team members and collaborating with production and technical departments to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of maintenance activities for your production line, ensuring preventative and corrective work is planned, prioritised and completed effectively
- Review line performance, analyse incidents and equipment stops, and implement solutions that improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Develop weekly, monthly and annual maintenance plans, ensuring work orders are appropriately prioritised, tracked and completed
- Maintain technical documentation, support compliance with engineering standards and promote best practice across the operation
- Work closely with Production, Technical and Engineering colleagues while supporting the development and capability of the wider maintenance team

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in an electrical, electro-mechanical or mechanical engineering discipline
- ONC in an electrical, electro-mechanical or mechanical engineering discipline
- HNC in an electrical, electro-mechanical or mechanical engineering discipline
- 18th Edition qualification
