Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Alpas is seeking a senior individual contributor to join their engineering team and report directly to the CTO. You will own projects end to end, from design to production operation, with a mission to enable fully-automated supplier analysis. You will work in small, cross-functional product teams to build and operate agentic sourcing technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production AI agents with LangGraph, including agentic workflow patterns.
• Build NLP and RAG pipelines that feed the agents.
• Integrate agents reliably with backend services and maintain scalable interfaces.
• Own MLOps for agentic workloads including CI/CD, monitoring, and inference efficiency.
• Set and meet quality targets and benchmark models and approaches.
• Maintain codebase health and share knowledge through reviews and documentation.
