Software Engineer

About the role

You will develop the core product of a healthcare startup, focusing on integrating AI into daily medical practice workflows. Working in a small, ambitious team, you will build features ranging from automated document processing to local AI model integration. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to the overall product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improvements for the core product using Python and Django
• Integrate and further develop local AI models for document classification, extraction, and text processing
• Implement and design user-friendly web interfaces using JavaScript and Bootstrap
• Participate in agile processes including requirement refinement, estimation, and code reviews
• Write automated tests and contribute to release stability using Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and PostgreSQL
• Propose technical improvements for the interaction between local AI and cloud components
