Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Threat Protection and ShadowAI team in the UK. This role involves designing and developing scalable services that provide visibility and control over generative AI and web application usage for enterprise customers. You will work on core components of the Menlo Browser Security Platform, utilizing AI-assisted development tools to build secure, high-performance distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own new features and services in the Threat Protection and ShadowAI product area.
• Build highly available, scalable distributed systems and APIs with a focus on performance and security.
• Refine detection and policy capabilities for generative AI and web application usage.
• Participate in the deployment and operation of the platform in production using metrics and log analysis.
• Utilize AI code assistants and test generation tools while maintaining high standards for code quality and security.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and technical roadmaps.
• Write unit and automated tests and conduct code and design reviews.
