Regional General Manager Airports

About the role

The Regional General Manager provides strategic leadership to deliver safe operations and excellence in guest service through contracted service partners. This role involves leading a team of Regional Managers to maintain regulatory compliance, foster stakeholder relationships, and ensure consistent operational standards across the region. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement, manage regional operational planning, and serve as a senior escalation point for complex operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Foster a Safety Above All culture by ensuring service partners achieve safety targets and address operational risks.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Managers to deliver operational, guest experience, and financial objectives.
• Provide strategic oversight of airport operations, ensuring consistent execution of standards and priorities.
• Deliver regional operational performance through station action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide governance through audits, operational reviews, and performance assessments to ensure adherence to standards.
• Analyze operational performance and safety data to inform decision-making and resource prioritization.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex operational, guest, commercial, and safety matters.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with airport authorities, service partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
