Psychiatrist Collaborative Physician (MD)

About the role

UpLift is a multi-sided marketplace connecting patients with therapists and psychiatric providers covered by insurance. This role involves providing psychiatric services via a virtual platform and supporting Nurse Practitioners through formal collaboration agreements. Physicians will conduct video consultations, assess and treat patients, and maintain clinical standards while working with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via telemedicine.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication when clinically appropriate.
• Provide supervision and oversight to Nurse Practitioners in states requiring collaborative agreements.
• Complete required chart reviews and provide timely consultation support to NPs.
• Maintain responsiveness for collaboration duties in accordance with state requirements and UpLift standards.
• Coordinate care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Provide empathetic, evidence-based care while upholding UpLift’s clinical and service standards.
• Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to help improve care delivery.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatrist with active clinical experience
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina
