About the role
The Senior Legal Counsel is a senior member of the legal team responsible for providing strategic, commercially focused legal support across customer, technology, and intellectual property activities. Reporting to the General Counsel, the role serves as a trusted adviser to business leaders on complex legal, commercial, and regulatory matters to help the company manage risk and execute its growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Customer agreements and strategic commercial arrangements
- Technology, software, SaaS and IT contracting
- Intellectual property protection, licensing and commercialisation
- Regulatory compliance, including privacy, data protection and export controls
- Consumer law and fair trading matters
- Product, platform and technology-related legal support
- Legal risk management and regulatory compliance
- Development and maintenance of legal templates, policies and frameworks
