Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will take over an established legal function, reporting directly to the Chairman, with a clear path to transition into the General Counsel role within 18 months. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice to management and departments, managing international expansion, and overseeing corporate governance. The successful candidate will lead legal processes, contract management, and regulatory compliance as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to the management board and departments across corporate, commercial, contract, competition, civil, and labor law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts and manage the contract lifecycle.
• Support corporate legal matters, including financing rounds, transactions, due diligence, and group restructuring.
• Prepare and support committee and shareholder work.
• Manage legal aspects of international subsidiaries and market entry strategies.
• Oversee terms and conditions, data protection compliance, and intellectual property matters.
• Support payment products and business models in collaboration with financial partners.
• Manage legal disputes and coordinate external legal counsel.
