Controlling Manager

About the role

The Controlling Manager will establish financial steering processes and ensure that data from business segments is complete, reliable, and relevant for decision-making. This role combines methodological expertise with insightful analysis to provide a foundation for transparent reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic corporate management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper, complete, and traceable evaluation of all business segments for internal and external reporting.
• Manage the design and execution of periodic reporting for internal departments, management, and the supervisory board.
• Develop and refine controlling, budgeting, and strategic planning processes to steer company development.
• Analyze key KPIs and create insightful reports and decision papers for management and stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary contact for colleagues, leadership, and management regarding all controlling matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or a comparable banking vocational training with further education in controlling and banking
• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling or financial reporting, ideally in a bank, financial service provider, or FinTech
