About the role

Decathlon Digital is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join the People Data team to advance the development and industrialization of DaiLY, an internal HR conversational agent. The role involves transitioning the system from a simple Q&A model to a transactional agentic system capable of performing actions across HR infrastructure. You will work within a dedicated team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of GenAI solutions for 100,000 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop agentic capabilities including tool-calling protocols and inter-agent communication.
  • Implement advanced chunking and re-ranking strategies to optimize domain-specific performance.
  • Maintain quality pipelines for RAG systems, including grounding, citation verification, and automated evaluation.
  • Establish robust observability and monitoring using tools like OpenTelemetry and MLflow.
  • Implement granular access management and metadata filtering to ensure data security and multi-tenancy isolation.
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical model behaviors and success metrics.
