Senior Java Backend Developer

About the role

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will develop high-performance backend solutions for complex professional systems within the statutory health insurance sector. You will implement technical requirements to create stable, secure, and future-proof applications while continuously improving existing components.

Responsibilities

• Development and further development of modern backend applications based on Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Conception, implementation, and integration of REST interfaces
• Implementation of complex technical requirements in the statutory health insurance environment
• Development of performant and maintainable software solutions considering quality and security requirements
• Work with SQL and DB2 for processing and managing technical data
• Analysis, optimization, and further development of existing applications and components
• Creation of automated tests and ensuring software quality
• Technical coordination with departments, development teams, and other project participants
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
