Senior Backend Web Developer Shopify

About the role

As a Backend Web Developer for Shopify, you will be responsible for the technical infrastructure of the company's Shopify PLUS shop, ranging from architecture to the development of high-performance backend processes. You will design stable, scalable interfaces and develop customized solutions to ensure the seamless integration of the platform into the company's system landscape. Your work will directly contribute to the company's mission of providing probiotic solutions to millions of people worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage the connection and further development of all interfaces between e-commerce and adjacent departments such as accounting and operations.
• Develop and expand high-performance backend solutions including Shopify Apps and API interfaces.
• Take overall responsibility for the architecture, technological base, and tool landscape of the international Shopify PLUS shop.
• Steer and develop the Shopify PLUS shop across 11 countries while ensuring scalable integration into internal IT infrastructure.
• Conduct A/B tests in close cooperation with product management to drive optimizations and set standards for the digital shopping experience.

Qualifications
