About the role
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician will research, implement, and optimize AI, automation, and data-driven technologies across various business functions. This role focuses on streamlining workflows, improving decision-making, and increasing efficiency by integrating AI/ML expertise with systems like finance, accounting, and labor management. The successful candidate will also provide technical support, training, and documentation to help teams adopt these solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Research, assess, and recommend emerging AI technologies and automation solutions that can create measurable business value.
- Deploy and optimize AI models, automation tools, and integrated workflows across different business functions.
- Integrate and optimize platforms for invoice automation, receipt management, cash-flow forecasting, labor optimization, bookkeeping, and financial reconciliation.
- Connect POS and accounting systems using integration and automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or Omnivore.
- Develop and maintain internal AI-powered dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio to provide insights into financial, labor, and operational performance.
- Streamline financial data flows, including bank transaction imports and accounting processes.
- Monitor AI systems and automated workflows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical support, user training, and clear documentation for AI-powered applications and workflows.
