Design Engineer (Web & Brand)

About the role

Granola is seeking a Design Engineer to own the development and creative direction of their website. This role involves combining design instincts with front-end engineering to create high-quality marketing experiences that explain the product and its value. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of web projects, from initial exploration to production, while building infrastructure to support future growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the website’s development, setting its direction and ensuring high quality.
• Continuously improve the site’s SEO, performance, and accessibility.
• Set an ambitious creative and technical bar for product marketing experiences.
• Collaborate with marketing and design to bring the company story to life across various pages.
• Maintain and improve everyday site elements like navigation, pricing, and calls to action.
• Build reusable components, page templates, and CMS workflows to streamline publishing.
• Support experimentation through campaign landing pages and A/B testing.
