QA Engineer Mobile

About the role

ScholarshipOwl is seeking a Mobile QA Engineer to lead quality assurance, test automation, and release stability for their Flutter mobile app. This role involves shifting quality left by auditing specifications and leveraging AI coding assistants to achieve high test coverage and rapid delivery. You will work across a multi-service architecture to ensure seamless integration between the mobile app and GraphQL API.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute parallelized E2E smoke and regression test pipelines using Patrol.
• Establish automated contract and API integration testing to validate GraphQL schema updates.
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to generate test scripts and automate log triage.
• Review feature specifications and GraphQL schema definitions to identify edge cases and design flaws.
• Monitor build health and error logs across Firebase, Sentry, and GCP to triage issues.
• Conduct testing across iOS and Android environments, including physical devices and OTA hot-patches.
• Perform visual regression and component-level testing using Flutter Storybook.
