Senior Communications & PR Lead

About the role

As the Senior Communications & PR Lead, you will drive brand awareness and interest through top-of-funnel content to shape Accurx’s reputation among NHS senior decision-makers and policymakers. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will act as a communications expert, providing strategic guidance to senior leaders and GTM teams while executing PR and brand initiatives. This role involves managing PR agency relationships, overseeing the company podcast, and leading thought-leadership and brand content programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press materials, securing media coverage, and managing crisis communications.
• Own the production of the Accurx Unprescribed podcast, including guest booking and content creation.
• Run a thought-leadership and brand content programme, including LinkedIn newsletters, opinion pieces, and reports.
• Manage the company's LinkedIn channel, creating content and empowering internal teams to drive engagement.
• Provide communications advice and guidance to senior leaders and GTM teams to support company goals.
