1 on 1 Grades 1-4 Math Tutor

About the role

Think Academy US is seeking 1-on-1 Math Tutors to deliver personalized online instruction for students in Grades 1-4. Tutors will support project testing and curriculum development while helping young learners build foundational math skills and confidence through interactive, student-centered lessons aligned with Common Core State Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement
• Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners, and adapt communication style to keep lower elementary students engaged and motivated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Education, or related fields
• Teaching experience
