QA Engineer

About the role

PadSplit is seeking a QA Engineer to enhance quality across their Marketplace pod, covering mobile, web, and backend systems. The role involves independently validating cross-platform user flows, reducing production risk, and increasing release confidence through disciplined testing. You will partner with Engineering and Product teams to identify risks early and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies across Mobile, Web, and backend services.
• Validate complex user flows that span frontend interfaces and backend systems.
• Perform API validation, data integrity checks, and business logic testing.
• Execute cross-platform regression testing prior to releases to ensure stability.
• Diagnose defects using logs, network tools, and API inspection techniques.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects while partnering with engineers on root-cause resolution.
• Maintain test environments, device coverage, and reliable platform test data.
• Proactively surface quality risks during sprint planning and release cycles.
