Product Business Analyst

About the role

The Product Business Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and engineering delivery by turning ideas and requirements into clear, actionable work. This role brings clarity to ambiguity, connects work across Product and Platform Engineering, and ensures teams have the necessary information to reduce rework and improve software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to explore ideas, requests and feedback, clarifying the underlying problem and business need.
• Translate business needs into clear epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain accurate requirements and supporting context in Jira, including agreed scope and relevant decisions.
• Investigate ambiguity and work with stakeholders to resolve requirements questions during the delivery process.
• Identify dependencies, overlaps or potential impacts between Product and Platform Engineering teams.
• Build constructive working relationships across Product, Engineering, QA and customer-facing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related analysis role within software delivery
