About the role

The UK Payroll Executive ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll for multiple UK clients. This role involves managing payroll data, supporting workplace pension auto-enrolment, and responding to client queries while adhering to UK labour laws and HMRC requirements. The position focuses on improving workflows through technology, AI, and automation to maintain high standards of efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll data and process payroll transactions for multiple UK clients
  • Support workplace pension auto-enrolment and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines
  • Respond to client queries professionally and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
  • Perform HMRC submissions including RTI, FPS, and EPS
  • Handle year-end reporting requirements such as P60s and P11Ds
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve payroll issues proactively
  • Contribute to process improvements using AI and automation tools
