About the role

The Senior Trust and Safety Manager will build and lead the Trust and Safety function to protect a distributed field workforce of phlebotomists. This role involves developing safety policies, emergency response workflows, and education programs while partnering with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks for employees entering private homes. The successful candidate will establish the program from the ground up, ensuring the safety of the field team as the organization scales.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery and prioritize risk by mapping incident history and identifying blind spots.
  • Own the Trust and Safety roadmap, including setting launch dates and training milestones.
  • Build and maintain a library of internal policies, emergency response workflows, and incident reporting standards.
  • Source, evaluate, and deploy safety solutions such as hardware and internal process improvements.
  • Develop and deliver field education programs through various formats to ensure ongoing safety awareness.
  • Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure compliance regarding monitoring and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for serious incidents and coordinate cross-functional responses.
  • Define and report on key safety metrics to drive organizational buy-in and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in trust & safety, workplace safety/EHS, risk, corporate security, or field operations
  • 2+ years owning programs or leading people
  • Experience supporting a distributed, in-person workforce
  • Track record of building a function from zero
