International Audio/Video Interpreter

About the role

As an audio/video interpreter, you will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community. You will work as an independently contracted interpreter within a professional network to provide language services across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Kurdish and Arabic or Persian
• Technology proficiency
