About the role
The Senior Product Designer will lead design for the Core Experience team, owning the foundational elements of the platform including sign-up, onboarding, and the design system. This role focuses on creating a coherent, cross-cutting experience across all of Paddle's products while contributing to AI-powered and integrated features. The designer will balance hands-on execution with systems thinking to ensure high-quality, user-centered outcomes in a complex B2B environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design of foundational seller experiences from discovery through delivery.
- Act as a horizontal partner to product teams by creating guidelines, principles, and reusable patterns.
- Contribute to integration and AI experiences by shaping interaction patterns and defining user value.
- Lead design thinking for information architecture, interaction patterns, accessibility, and scalable component design.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to define problems, influence roadmaps, and ship high-quality outcomes.
- Use research, data, and customer feedback to validate decisions and improve the user experience.
- Set and uphold quality standards across the product organization.
- Mentor and support other designers through collaboration and critique.
