Product Engineer

About the role

Porters is building an operating system for autonomous banking, using AI agents to automate critical, regulated processes. As a Product Engineer, you will own features from design through to production, integrating across a layered stack to solve real customer problems. You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment alongside founders to build reliable, secure, and impactful financial technology.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end-to-end: Deliver complete vertical slices across the stack, from the API layer to the data model, carried through to running in production.
• Grow what the platform does for banks: Build the services Porters performs for banks: Extend the capabilities of our agentic platform such as case handling, customer matching, AI tool integrations, data enrichment, or keeping humans in the loop.
• Deliver features that hold together as a system: Design endpoints, contracts, and interfaces that work together, ensuring features integrate cleanly towards one bigger outcome.
• Ensure your work is reliable: Own design, development, tests, and deployment, so what reaches production is proven to work.
• Wow our customers: You solve for the customer's actual problem, not just the request and measure success by customer outcomes.
