Chief of Staff

About the role

As a Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO of a portfolio company, serving as a central interface for implementing key strategic priorities. You will create transparency regarding company performance, prepare critical decisions, and independently drive cross-functional initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to gain direct experience in mid-sized company management and transaction business, with the potential to transition into the AEM Unternehmerkapital Private Equity Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic topics in close cooperation with the CEO and support the implementation of central corporate priorities.
• Provide strategic decision support by preparing decision templates, analyses, and recommendations.
• Drive strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives with high visibility and relevance for corporate development.
• Develop and maintain a KPI dashboard to create transparency regarding performance, strategic progress, risks, and areas for action.
• Steer and implement cross-functional projects for operational development, particularly through process optimization and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate central interfaces between the CEO, management team, and relevant departments to ensure consistent implementation of agreed measures.
