Fractional Chief Medical Officer

About the role

Tricorder Systems is seeking a clinical lead to shape clinical workflows, ensure patient safety, and guide regulatory pathways for a rugged, deployable clinical hardware and software platform. This role involves acting as the medical face of the product to defence, NHS, and humanitarian stakeholders while translating clinical reality into actionable product requirements. The position is based within the Founders Factory venture studio.

Responsibilities

• Shape clinical workflows from point of injury through to definitive care.
• Lead clinical risk management and act as or appoint the Clinical Safety Officer under NHS DCB0129.
• Represent the product to defence medical services, the NHS, and investors.
• Secure clinical pilots, user testing, and design partnerships through professional networks.
• Design clinical pilots and studies while reviewing clinical claims and AI features.
• Advise the founder and engineering team on clinical priorities and assist with clinical hiring.
