About the role
The Data Collection Engineer will manage data workflows including upload, validation, and correction of sensor and ground-truth data. This role involves coordinating test-track activities, performing hardware and software configurations on vehicle systems, and ensuring project goals are met in collaboration with project managers. The position requires integration of various sensors and cameras into prototype and production vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Manage data workflows including upload, validation, correction, and adjustment of sensor and ground-truth data.
- Coordinate test-track activities and maintain task status in tools like Jira or Monday.
- Perform technical work on systems including hardware adjustments, software configuration, and debugging.
- Operate systems during test-track activities.
- Plan test-track activities based on scenario-level test catalogs.
- Integrate various systems, cameras, and sensors including dGPS and ground-truth into prototype and production vehicles.
