AI Lead

About the role

The AI Lead will own the AI strategy and development across Jupus's legal tech product suite, including voice, chat, and document processing modules. This role balances hands-on development of production-ready generative AI systems with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring the AI team and defining technical roadmaps. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership to build reliable, scalable AI infrastructure and establish best practices for evaluation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI roadmap across all AI products
• Lead, mentor, and grow the AI team
• Architect and implement production-ready generative AI systems across voice, chat, and document workflows
• Contribute hands-on to core AI systems, including architecture, implementation, and optimization
• Design and oversee agentic workflows, RAG systems, and LLM-based architectures
• Establish and scale evaluation, testing, and observability frameworks for AI systems
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI into product workflows

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience building and shipping applied AI systems in production
• Proven hands-on experience with agentic AI systems and/or RAG in production
