Lead Product Manager, Inference

About the role

Mistral is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the inference portfolio within the Cloud & Inference organization. You will set strategy, write specifications, and collaborate with customers, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams to deliver impactful AI products. This role requires an individual contributor who can take end-to-end ownership of complex product lines while laying the foundation for a future inference PM team.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and annual goals for the inference portfolio.
• Own the full lifecycle for serverless inference, dedicated endpoints, and adjacent services.
• Manage adoption, revenue contribution, and gross margin for inference products.
• Engage directly with AI-native startups and enterprises to translate customer constraints into roadmap choices.
• Partner with inference engineering and cloud infrastructure teams on capacity planning, scheduling, and reliability.
• Monitor open-source inference advances and model architectures to drive performance and efficiency gains.
• Shape and grow the inference PM team through hiring and mentoring as the portfolio scales.
