Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

About the role

As the first Senior Product Designer for Design Systems, you will define and lead the roadmap for our design system from the ground up. You will audit existing systems, scale them across our products, and establish processes that bridge design and engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously on high-impact projects that serve millions of users while maintaining our privacy-focused standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit the existing design system and recommend solutions for future scaling.
• Lead projects to evolve the design system across platforms and products like Duck.ai and Search.
• Create and maintain frameworks, tokens, and libraries that ensure consistency across teams.
• Bridge design and engineering practices by developing shared nomenclature and workflows.
• Communicate design recommendations and prioritization through clear documentation and success metrics.
• Apply AI-driven solutions to optimize design system management and maintenance.
