Software Integration Engineer - SAP Transport & Release

About the role

The Cross Engineering Value Chain team is looking for a Software Integration Engineer to manage SAP transport and release processes. You will ensure the stability, quality, and continuity of application deployments while supporting the modernization of architectures toward SAP S/4HANA and the Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end transport orders across complex environments while ensuring delivery deadlines and approval circuits are met.
• Administer and supervise ChaRM workflows in SAP Solution Manager, resolving import conflicts and sequence errors.
• Perform pre-import checks, dependency validation, and collision tracking to ensure system stability and zero-downtime deployments.
• Resolve transport failures and error codes in collaboration with SAP Basis teams and functional developers.
• Contribute to the migration strategy from ChaRM to SAP Cloud ALM and test new functionalities for hybrid environments.
• Coordinate with the Change Advisory Board and project managers to plan deployment calendars and manage emergency hotfixes.
