Senior AI-Native Data Engineer

About the role

exmox is looking for a Senior AI-Native Data Engineer to build and scale the data foundation for their mobile gaming engagement platform. You will operate at the intersection of data, engineering, and product, utilizing AI tools daily to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and a Data Lakehouse. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to using AI-driven workflows to maximize speed and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on Databricks.
• Build and manage the Data Lakehouse on Databricks, including migrating legacy data products.
• Monitor and optimize the data stack for nightly and near-real-time processing.
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflows for planning, building, debugging, and documentation.
• Manage version control using Git worktrees to run parallel AI-assisted branches.
• Maintain structured project context for AI tools to ensure long-term effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to ensure seamless data flow.
