Piping Supervisor

About the role

The Piping Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to the installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning of piping systems for an industrial LNG project. The role involves managing subcontractors and field teams, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, and HSE standards. The supervisor acts as the primary field representative for piping and insulation works, resolving technical issues and managing interfaces with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all piping and insulation activities from material receipt to system commissioning.
• Report to the Site Superintendent on activity progress and execution.
• Manage and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
• Verify work compliance with plans, technical specifications, and standards such as ASME and PED.
• Supervise cryogenic piping and support installation, ensuring specific requirements are met.
• Plan and oversee hydrostatic pressure testing, cleaning, and drying operations for piping networks.
• Implement quality control systems, conduct inspections, and manage documentation and non-conformities.
• Enforce safety regulations, perform site safety inspections, and identify professional risks.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
