Senior Product Designer

About the role

The Senior Product Designer will lead design for the Core Experience team, owning the foundational elements of the platform including sign-up, onboarding, and the design system. This role focuses on creating a coherent, cross-cutting experience that connects all of Paddle's products. You will balance hands-on execution with systems thinking to ensure a high bar for quality across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of foundational seller experiences, from discovery through delivery and long-term evolution.
• Act as a horizontal partner to product teams by creating guidelines, principles, and reusable patterns for platform consistency.
• Contribute to integration and AI experiences by shaping interaction patterns and evaluating where AI delivers user value.
• Lead design thinking for information architecture, interaction patterns, accessibility, and scalable component design.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to define problems, influence roadmaps, and ship high-quality outcomes.
• Use research, data, and customer feedback to validate decisions and improve the user experience.
• Set and uphold quality and craft standards across the product organization.
• Mentor and support other designers through collaboration, feedback, and critique.
