About the role

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide high-level legal guidance within the Fintech sector, focusing on payments, e-money, and consumer credit products. You will offer strategic counsel on regulatory, contractual, and product-related matters to ensure compliance and mitigate risks while collaborating cross-functionally to support product development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and launch new products and services in Payments and Consumer Credit.
  • Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Advise on relevant financial regulatory requirements including PSD2, AML/KYC, e-money regulations, and CCD2.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and foster a culture of legal awareness across the organisation.
