About the role
The Systems Engineering team acts as the primary technical interface for customers, guiding them through product integration and troubleshooting complex quantum systems. As a Compiler Engineer, you will configure software libraries and low-level code to run custom hardware, creating predictable and stable low-latency systems. You will work closely with mathematicians, physicists, and engineers to support scientists running quantum experiments.
Responsibilities
- Host Technical Workshops on Riverlane’s QEC Interface
- Evaluate Customers Control System and Data Communication requirements
- Write Python or C++ to adapt to customer’s control systems and ensure data packets are received correctly
- Work with the Quantum Application Team to design experiments to test the system
- Benchmark and discover hardware latency limitations
- Report issues and help replicate the setup with the QA team
- Write scripts to debug and trace faults
- Update verification environment and test vectors based on experimental data
