Data Architect GCP

About the role

SFEIR is looking for a Data Architect to design innovative data architectures on Google Cloud Platform. You will define architectural patterns, implement Data Mesh and Data Fabric solutions, and guide clients through the modernization of legacy data platforms. The role focuses on ensuring scalability, performance, and governance while preparing data foundations for GenAI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative data architectures on GCP and ensure their implementation by teams
• Define architectural patterns and best practices to guarantee technical consistency
• Lead the implementation of Data Mesh and Data Fabric for clients
• Manage the modernization of legacy data platforms and migration strategies
• Advise clients on data strategy, communicating effectively with both CDOs and Data Engineers
• Ensure scalability, performance, and governance from the design phase
