About the role
Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company developing autonomous ground systems for mission-critical operations. As a Senior E/E Engineer, you will own the electromagnetic compatibility and compliance strategy for UGV platforms, ensuring designs meet both civil and military standards. You will lead the process from initial design concepts through to final certification, working across high-power electronics, autonomy compute, and mission payloads.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the EMC and E3 compliance strategy for UGV platforms, covering civil and military standards.
- Develop and integrate grounding, bonding, shielding, and harness concepts with a focus on high-voltage and high-power electronics.
- Manage RF coexistence on dense platforms to ensure datalinks, GNSS, and radios function without interference.
- Build and manage an in-house pre-compliance lab to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
- Lead full compliance campaigns at component, subsystem, and vehicle levels, including root cause analysis and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EMC requirements are integrated into the design process.
