About the role

The Engineer for Design & Engineering will manage the receipt and registration of enquiries, conduct detailed studies of drawings and standards, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. This role involves performing feasibility studies, defining process sequences, preparing bills of materials, and developing product and process quotations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and register enquiries in the RFQ register and provide periodic updates
• Study drawings and standards in detail and request missing information from marketing or customers
• Conduct cross-functional team reviews for new enquiries
• Perform feasibility studies and define process sequences
• Prepare bills of materials and product and process quotations
• Calculate target costs and obtain supplier quotes through the purchasing department
