Data Engineer

About the role

Bookboost is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build the data infrastructure that supports the company's hospitality engagement platform. You will be responsible for scaling data pipelines from gigabytes to terabytes, ensuring data is available for frontend applications and machine learning pipelines. This role offers the opportunity to shape the data foundation of the product while working with modern AI-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage at high scale with end-to-end monitoring.
• Create tools and abstractions on top of the data infrastructure to support analytics, recommendations, and machine learning.
• Implement data orchestration and streaming pipelines.
• Build reusable data resources and design patterns in close collaboration with product teams.
