Distinguished PQC Cryptography & Architecture Leader

About the role

This role provides overall technical leadership for a post-quantum cryptography hardware acceleration program within the quantum-safe product portfolio. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end architecture, from cryptographic algorithm strategy to FPGA-based product development, while setting technical direction across hardware, software, and security disciplines. This position serves as the most senior technical authority for the program, representing the technology to customers, standards bodies, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the system architecture and microarchitecture of a multi-algorithm PQC accelerator implementing ML-KEM, ML-DSA and SLH-DSA/LMS.
• Own the algorithm and standards strategy including NIST FIPS 203/204/205, CNSA 2.0, and FIPS 140-3.
• Drive make/buy and IP-licensing decisions and shape the security and certification architecture.
• Set the technical roadmap and arbitrate cross-domain design decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and represent the program externally with customers, standards bodies, and certification laboratories.
• Own the end-to-end architecture and technical roadmap of a PQC hardware-acceleration product line from concept to shipping product.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cryptography or a related field
