This role requires a combination of high-speed design expertise and hands-on bench work to deliver mission-critical hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design SoMs, baseboards, and test boards for compute platforms.
  • Design around high-end application processors, managing PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, and MIPI constraints.
  • Design power trees, sequencing, and conversion topologies with verified power-up and power-down behavior.
  • Prepare and lead design reviews from block diagram to fabrication release.
  • Collaborate with PCB and EMS partners on stack-up, via technology, and layout guidance.
  • Define verification test plans and perform thermal, vibration, EMC, and ESD qualification.
  • Work cross-functionally with embedded software and mechanical teams for board bring-up and flight qualification.
