About the role

This role involves engineering, validating, and banking human cell lines for functional genomics screens within a stealth AI and biology startup. You will be responsible for generating CRISPR-edited lines, differentiating iPSCs into various lineages, and establishing standardized, traceable protocols for lab-based data generation. The position requires a hands-on approach to cell culture and documentation to ensure high-quality, reproducible results for downstream screening and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, validate, and bank human cell lines including iPSCs.
• Generate CRISPR-edited lines such as knockouts, knock-ins, and inducible systems.
• Isolate clones and perform validation via genotyping, sequencing, and pluripotency QC.
• Differentiate iPSCs into neurons and other lineages for characterization.
• Build and manage cell banks with detailed, traceable records.
• Develop and standardize protocols for consistency and potential transition to automated, plate-based formats.

Qualifications
