International Audio/Video Remote Georgian Interpreter

About the role

As an audio/video interpreter for Georgian, you will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community. You will work as an independently contracted interpreter within the LSA network to provide language support across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

Required skills

• Georgian
• English
• Interpretation

Nice to have

• Professional interpreting

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Georgian
• Technology proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• Access to a quiet, secure, and noise-free interpreting space
