About the role
The Maintenance Assistant HOD / Senior Foreman is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical reliability of high-temperature equipment in a Ferro Alloys plant. The incumbent will manage assets such as Submerged Arc Furnaces and crushers to minimize downtime, optimize production efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for crushers, conveyors, cooling systems, and furnaces.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical reliability of high-temperature equipment.
- Minimize operational downtime and optimize production output.
- Enforce strict safety protocols across the plant.
