Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Canonical is seeking an experienced Python developer to help build a fully managed, reliable, and secure MongoDB solution based on Juju. You will work within a small team to enable high-performing MongoDB deployments across various cloud, virtual machine, and Kubernetes environments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to open source projects while working in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a fully managed MongoDB solution using Juju
• Design and implement infrastructure deployment automations
• Operate and manage MongoDB clusters in mission-critical environments
• Ensure high quality through rigorous automatic testing
• Collaborate with engineers to support MongoDB on public cloud, VMs, and Kubernetes
