Director, Asset Protection & Safety - International

About the role

The Director of Asset Protection & Safety International leads the enterprise protection strategy across international retail markets, ensuring operational integrity, safety, and asset protection. This role develops and scales comprehensive protection programs across the UK, Europe, and APAC while integrating risk management, safety governance, and investigations. The leader will partner with cross-functional teams to anticipate emerging risks and drive operational excellence in diverse regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing international field organization.
• Establish scalable governance models aligning global standards with local regulatory requirements.
• Develop proactive strategies to deter and respond to external theft and organized retail crime.
• Lead internal investigations with discretion and cultural sensitivity.
• Partner cross-functionally to mitigate controllable loss and standardize international retail audit programs.
• Champion a culture of safety, preparedness, and wellbeing, including workplace violence prevention.
• Modernize protection and safety platforms through technology and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Risk Management, or related field
