About the role

Stark is a defence technology company focused on engineering autonomous platforms and unmanned systems for NATO forces. As a Senior Waveform Architect, you will own the development, architecture, and implementation of the waveform for a tactical anti-jam radio. You will ensure communication links remain robust and operational under severe electronic countermeasure conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of the physical layer including waveform, modulation, coding, framing, and synchronisation.
  • Engineer solutions tailored for challenging jamming scenarios and complex, multi-node long-range link budgets.
  • Own the PHY-side specifications and expose critical IQ, phase, and timing observables for the Direction Finding strand.
  • Define development guidelines for the strand including HDL and verification conventions and FPGA build flows.
