Team Lead Analytics & Forecasting

About the role

The Mobility House is seeking a Team Lead to manage the forecasting stack for their short-term algorithmic trading desk. You will lead a team of analysts and data scientists to develop and implement statistical and fundamental models that optimize assets on European power markets. This role bridges the gap between technical data analysis and strategic decision-making for trading and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete forecasting stack for the short-term algorithmic trading desk
• Deliver production-grade, probabilistic inputs for optimization and bidding algorithms
• Develop and implement analytical, statistical, and fundamental models for European power and renewable markets
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-7 analysts and data scientists
• Collaborate with Trading, Portfolio Management, Sales, and Product teams to develop cutting-edge services
• Create reports and benchmarks to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
