Security Engineer

About the role

Vivid is seeking a senior Security Engineer to own and improve the security of their internal environment, including identities, SaaS applications, endpoints, and AI tooling. This hands-on role involves designing controls, identifying security gaps, and building automation to scale security operations within a cloud-native AWS environment. The successful candidate will lead technical initiatives independently and communicate security architecture effectively to both engineering teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own SIEM alerting end-to-end, including log management, detection rule tuning, and incident response.
• Administer identity providers and manage access recertification across SaaS, AWS, and internal tools.
• Enforce least privilege, PAM, and improve SaaS security posture while applying DLP controls.
• Maintain the endpoint security stack and define posture requirements with automated remediation.
• Defend against phishing and spoofing through email gateway configuration and security awareness programs.
• Build internal tooling and automate repetitive operations to reduce manual work.
